God sees our perfection-were we not made in the image and likeness of God? Myrtle Fillmore, co-founder of Unity, was given six months to live when she discovered the healing Truth. At a lecture she attended, she heard the speaker state that we do not inherit sickness. In her mind, she recognized the Truth and she was healed at that very moment. Now, it took several years for that healing to become manifest, but she never gave up on her individual healing work. She affirmed day and night that she was healed. She kept her mind focused on God as life and permanent healing. She had faith that God was working with her to restore her body, mind and heart. Myrtle was healed, had another child and lived another 40 years! Our bodies are the temples of the living God-healing is always possible because wholeness is our true and natural state. Our bodies are divinely created and divinely maintained. The power and presence of God is in every cell and atom. There is only Divine perfection and it is at the very core of our being.
